Dog First Aid Training

Learn the skills and confidence to respond when a dog needs help with in-person Dog First Aid training at My Dog Barber Academy.

Our training is available with two certification options, so you can choose between our practical in-house training with a Certificate of Attendance or completing the full Ofqual-regulated qualification.

Option 1:

In-House Dog First Aid Training – £90

Perfect for dog owners, groomers, walkers, sitters and other pet professionals who want practical first aid knowledge and the confidence to respond in an emergency.

During your training, you'll learn about CPR, choking, bleeding and wounds, heatstroke, poisoning, fractures, seizures and other common canine emergencies, including what action to take while seeking appropriate veterinary care.

You'll take part in practical demonstrations and activities throughout the session and receive a My Dog Barber Certificate of Attendance on completion.

Option 2:

Ofqual-Regulated Dog First Aid – £175

Everything covered in our in-house Dog First Aid Training, plus the opportunity to gain the iPET Network Level 3 Award in Canine First Aid, which is regulated by Ofqual.

You'll complete the additional assessment requirements needed to achieve the regulated qualification, making this a great option for dog groomers and other pet professionals who want formal, nationally recognised certification of their first aid knowledge and skills.
