Our apprenticeships give compassionate, hard-working young people the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of grooming and caring for dogs, while being paid, over the course of 12-18 months.
We recruit apprentices once a year and work with Keits – a national training provider – who teach the theory involved in the apprenticeship, while we teach the practical skills. Students will leave the apprenticeship with a level 2 qualification and the skills required to bathe dogs or be an assistant groomer.
Applicants will need relevant maths and English qualifications – these can also be obtained via short courses prior to the start of the apprenticeship.
